Paul en Annick

Paul is from the Netherlands, born in the Hague and his wife Annick was born in Hamont, Belgium.

Church, education and work

Before coming to Canada, both Paul and Annick were members of the Kempische Volle Evangelie Gemeente Rehoboth (Full Gospel Church, Rehoboth), in the Netherlands. From his late teens Paul already had the desire to go into missions and in 1995 he was appointed as an Evangelist. His first ministry was to set up a follow-up course for young believers and for those interested in the gospel.
In 1987 Paul graduated from Economics in Eindhoven, the Netherlands, and graduated Theology in 2003 ETF in Belgium.

How Mission started in their lives

In May 2001 two itinerant evangelists came to 'Rehoboth' with a fresh, powerful and Biblical vision on healing the sick.
The message they preached touched both Paul and Annick so powerfully that they decided to spend their holidays helping in one of their crusades to learn more. This was in July 200, in Victoria BC, Canada. While there, the pastor, Dan McLean, invited Paul and Annick to help him and his wife, Pastor Susan, with their church Southside Christian Fellowship Centre, in Nanaimo BC, for a period of six months. The week following God confirmed clearly that it was His call, so they said 'yes'. Paul gave up his job as high school teacher, a job he really loved, they stored part of their stuff, lovingly hugged the kids Roy (1982) and Kim (1983) and went back to Canada October 31st that year.

Ministry in Canada

Following this six month period, they committed to stay and continued helping to build the church as Pastoral Assistants. In August 2003 they moved to Victoria where they laboured in many areas in the newly planted church of Pastor Dan McLean (Victoria Miracle Centre).

Ministry abroad

Since 2001 Paul and Annick have traveled with itinerant evangelists to several countries. On the ministry trips to Holland, Paul interpreted, but also preached in meetings. One of these trips, the end of 2004 to Holland, was a remarkable experience of God's power and gave a good taste of what a revival will be (please read their newsletter about this 5 week trip that got extended to 2½ months). Since early 2005 they have been more released to follow their call for the nations, to help build churches with their giftings and to heal the sick in Jesus name. In 2008 God instructed them to resign as elders of VMC and launch out.

Areas of strength

Ministry through Praise and Worship

Ministry through the Word (preaching, teaching), equipping, training

Ministry through Prayer (healing, restoration)
