"Today I have been to the Neuro surgian and I will not have surgery for the hernia, because all the pain was gone!!! The only thing that remains is a numb feeling in my right foot, that, said the doctor, could be permanent. Of course now I don't take that. He was wondering how it had happened, what the explanation for this (healing) could be. 'Because of a big portion of prayer of friends' I said. You prayed for us in Leusden in September and don't forget, my friends and family here in Doetinchem. I asked him that I was wondering if there still was a hernia and if he was going to make a MRI scan. 'No, I am not going to do that', he said. Of course I understand, because of the expenses. 

An email from January 25th 2008

Many, many thanks for your prayers!! The depressions have left me. Also my back is perfect. Only my right foot still has a spot that is numb. Also that seems to fade!"
