"As promised I hereby send my testimony. The last two months I have been seeing a cardiologist .I had the following symptoms: tightness on my heart, I could not do any hard work and my blood pressure was too high. I also had to take medicine, but I already gave thanks for my healing. On December 14 2008 Paul and Annick came and they prayed for healing. I experienced the Lord doing surgery on my heart. I felt warmth in and around it. At home I tried to do all sorts of things, like playing with the kids and fortunately I did not feel any tightness around my heart. The Lord had healed me! An MRI-scan and a CT-scan are scheduled for me in January 2009, but I know that the Lord has healed me and I will not allow anyone or anything to steal it from me. Lots of love,Dick M.” Below is a report from the cardiologist, written after Dick had his heart checked out again:

Your reference: 3556776/VR/FS Zwolle, April 29th, 2009 Esteemed Colleague, On April 29 2009, Mr. Dick M., born 09-11-1967, residing in Zwolle, consulted me at the cardiology clinic. CARDIAC HISTORY: ECG with picture of left ventricular hypertrophy, normal echocardiogram, SPECT with irregular uptake without evidence of ischemia, MRI minor hypokinesia front wall, somewhat wide cavum. PREVIOUS HISTORY: blank. RISK FACTORS: hypertension. ANAMNESIS: patient has been doing great for months now. Has no more problems. Patient himself is convinced that he is healed through prayer. After prayer his symptoms quickly disappeared. MEDICATION: none. ECG: sinus rhythm, 57/min, intermediate axis. Very high voltages. Aberrant ECG. MRI: good left ventricular function, some hypokynesia in distal front wall. No convincing late enhancement. REVIEW: this concerns a 42 year old man who came for the results of the MRI-scan, which was performed to diagnose cardiomyopathy. The MRI-scan showed no obvious abnormalities, except for a minor hypokinesia. I had arranged for a CT coronary to take place, but unfortunately it had not been done. Patient's symptoms have now completely disappeared. I do not have a clear explanation for this clinical picture. Since there are no clear symptoms anymore I suggest an expectative policy for the time being. Given the possibility of a cardiomyopathy, I do want to monitor the left ventricular function by means of an ultrasound in one year, in order to rule out a future deterioration of the left ventricular function.
With collegial regards, Dr. J.R. Timmer, assistant physician cardiology, on behalf of V. Roolvink, cardiologist
